About the Fundraiser

Join us for Christina Hahn’s 31st birthday fundraiser. As the founder of the Dallas Asian American Art Collective and Creative Director of the Dallas Asian American Historical Society, she’s putting her big age to good use. There will be amazing music by Asian Texan performers, great vibes, and delicious food & drink for purchase. September 13th, from 9 PM- 12 AM at Opening Bell Coffee.

We’re throwing a mini Asian Texan music festival at Opening Bell Coffee to fundraise for the Museum of Asian Texans (founded by the Dallas Asian American Historical Society).

Transparency & Cost Breakdown:

DAAAART will be paying artist honorariums of $70 to our Asian Texan performers from our prior savings. ¾ of funds raised will go directly into saving for the Museum of Asian Texans, the remaining ¼ of funds will be allocated to DAAART to help maintain our operational costs (applying to spaces, website maintenance, artist honorariums, etc).

Why the Museum of Asian Texans? dallasasianhistory.org/museum

  • Asian Texans are an important part of Dallas and Texas! We deserve to have a space that celebrates, archives, and amplifies our stories, history, and art that is led by Asian Texan voices. We strive to be like the Latino Cultural Center and the African American Museum of Dallas and build a space that honors our experiences.

  • With increasing cuts to non-profit funding and grant opportunities, our organizations must rely on our communities! Tickets are $10, with the option to donate more. All funds raised from ticket sales will be directly donated to the Museum of Asian Texans.
